Corporate Event Video

We partnered with The Anderton Centre to produce
video content to market their Corporate Events Programme

The Mission

For this promotional video, we collaborated with The Anderton Centre based in Lancashire. They had just re-designed their corporate events programme and reached out for some video content to use as marketing material.

Their corporate events deliver outdoor learning to organisations to help them focus on different skills such as communication, interdependence and colleague relationships.

The main problem was that they had lots of inbound inquiries, but nothing to show potential customers whats involved and how it can improve their business.

Pre-Production

To be authentic as possible we had to capture and outdoor corporate event taking place. To do this we planned to capture the guys and girls from DAF Leyland Trucks taking part in an entire training day.

We had only one day to watch the action unfold so we had to plan carefully. We went through which events were taking place, scouted the locations and planned different angles and shots that would be interesting to include in the production.

We also had a short sit down interview planned after the event to help capture any valuable feedback from the participants and staff. The planning of this interview included locations and a list of questions that we would be asking.

Video Production

Due to having a detailed plan of action, when the shooting day arrive we had a good idea of where we needed to be at what times.

A lot of the activities that were being undertook where quite hands on, group activities. This meant that we couldn’t get too close to the participants.

We knew that lens choice would be crucial. For the majority of the project we used an 85mm lens to get close enough to the action without compromising the safety of everyone involved.

Post-Production

During the initial client meetings before the project started, we knew that we needed multiple assets to get the best results.

This was due to the corporate events program being showcased on different digital platforms.

The main piece we produced was a three minute, long form video that would be showcased on the website.

To accompany the main edit we produced a shorter version for social media along with multiple short form vertical edits.
